Here’s a thought to munch on this Saturday afternoon…
Are you willing to do the things that others aren’t?
That question has big implications.
Why?
Cause most people aren’t willing to do the things that are necessary for success.
I’ll give ya an example…
If you want to be a world-class copywriter, then you need to be willing to…
– write everyday, and sometimes that means writing for long hours
– write a bunch of stuff that bombs or doesn’t do well in the beginning (and you need to be able to deal with the emotional ups and downs that go along with this)
– feel like you’re lost, not progressing or even getting worse as a copywriter
– be ok with being alone and isolated a good amount of the time
– be ok with reaching out to clients and having them ghost you or reject you
I could go on and on with this…
But you get the point.
In order to be a top level copywriter, there’s a lot of stuff you need to do that MOST people are not willing to do.
Which is why most people fail.
It’s easy to get started…
And it’s easy to be excited in the beginning…
But what will you do when the excitement fades?
What will you do when you’re faced with reality (i.e. writing all-day, dealing with rejection, and constantly doubting yourself)
That’s the life of most copywriters.
And it’s why so many writers start, but then they jump to something else…
Or they grind their way to making $3k a month, but never go beyond that.
Most people just fall in line…
And they’re not willing to do the things needed for getting to the next level.
So again I ask you…
“Are you willing to do the things that others aren’t willing to do?”
This is a super important question…
And it can be uncomfortable to think about.
Cause the it forces you to face the reality of who you are.
Your work ethic…
Your dedication…
All of that.
But it’s an important question to ask.
Are you willing to do the things that others aren’t willing to do?
Give it some thought today.
