I’m wondering if you could share a few more examples of good hooks vs bad hooks like you did in that email.

Sure thing.

Take a look at these two emails…
– If you’re not selling to your list, someone else is ($296 in sales)
– the no-funnel secret for big sales to your list ($2464 in sales)
The first email here (if you’re not selling to your list, someone else is) pulled in $296 in sales.
And the second email (the no-funnel secret for big sales) pulled in $2464.
So the second email did 8x the sales of the first email!
This is despite both emails being written by me…
And both emails promoting the exact same offer…
Yet the second email did 8x more sales than the other one did.
Why?
Simple…
It had a better hook.
The second email used a proven and tested hook that has crushed for me over and over again in launches (I call it the “Therapy Mirror” hook).
So I simply used it again…
And it raked in a ton of sales.
I’ll give you another example…
In the launch I did earlier this year for “how to write Justin style emails”, I sent both of the following emails…
– How to be “famous” in your niche
– How much I made from January-April writing “Justin style emails”
The first email (the famous one) brought in $1186.
The second email (how much I made) brought in $2841.
So the second email brought in 2.4x as many sales as the first one.
Why?
It wasn’t the quality of the copy (I wrote both emails)…
It also wasn’t the subject line (both emails got over a 50% open rate)…
So why’d the second one do so much better?
Again, it simply had a better hook.
The second email used a proven and tested hook that has crushed for me over and over again in launches (I call it the POTP hook).
Point being…
