Usually on Sunday I write about 3 random things that are on my mind…
Well I had one too many cocktails celebrating my birthday on Saturday night, so my Sunday email didn’t happen yesterday.
So I’ll be doing it today…
Here’s the 3 random things that are on my mind this morning…
1. Everyone you know (no matter how successful or confident they appear) doubts themselves
One of the things that becomes very apparent when you’re a coach is that EVERYONE is filled with doubt.
I know guys making $10 million a year who constantly doubt themselves…
They wonder if they can make the next step…
They worry that they might lose it all..
They worry they won’t be able to make it back if they do lose it…
Despite their sucess, they have a lot of self doubt.
And like I said, this is normal.
It’s normal when you’re starting out…
And it’s normal as you get more successful.
Hell, I’ve been doing this for 16+ year and I still doubt myself (a lot).
So if you’re feeling the weight of your doubt…
Just know that it’s normal.
You’re not doing something wrong.
Everyone doubts themselves.
Alright, let’s jump to the 2nd thing on my mind this morning…
2. If you work on a laptop, get a stand that puts your laptop at eye level
I’ve been working from a laptop for the last 5-6 years, but only recently did I finally get a stand for my laptop, so that it sits at eye level.
And let me tell you this stand has been a game changer.
It’s much more comfortable to look at the screen when it’s eye level.
My posture is 100 times better…
I’m not sure why I didn’t think of getting one before.
But now that I have one, I wish I would have done it a lot sooner.
So if you work from a laptop (and you don’t have your laptop attached to a monitor) do yourself a favor and get a stand for it so that it sits at eye level.
Your neck and your posture will thank you.
Alright let’s do one more of these…
3. Most introverts suck at “small talk” but thrive in deep conversation
I usually get burned out if I’m at a party or an event that requires a lot of “small talk”.
This is a real struggle as an introvert.
Small talk just seems meaningless to me.
So it’s a chore to do it…
However on the other hand, I tend to thrive in deep conversations.
Case in point…
One of my friends was over yesterday, and her and I talked for 2+ hours about everything from failed relationships to our relationship with our parents to what our goals were for the year.
And guess what?
I loved every minute of that conversation.
It was real.
I got to know her on a deeper level…
And I got to share things about myself that she didn’t know.
I think most introverts tend to feel like this.
Sure we like time to ourselves…
But if we’re with someone, we prefer the conversations to be meaningful.
Small talk feels like a grind.
So if you tend to be more outgoing and extroverted, keep this in mind with your introverted friends.
Alright, I need to wrap this up…
Hope you got a nugget or two from this.
Enjoy your Monday,
– Justin

Note: If you like the insights I share in my emails, you may be interested in working with me in my mentoring program.
You’ll get to learn from me, Stefan Georgi and a group of A-list copywriters every single day.
We’ve already helped hundreds of copywriters hit multiple 6-figures in income like Amber Peoples, Tanner Henkel, Mario Castelli, Scott Connorton, Michael Rochin, Scott Mills, Krista Edsall and more.
We’ve also helped offer owners like Troy Ericson, Steve Gunn, VShred, Scott Phillips and Conor Boyland to scale their offers to hundreds (and even thousands) of sales a day.
If you want to work with us, get feedback on your copy, and potentially 2-5x where you’re at now…
Then I suggest giving this a read and seeing if it’s for you…
