True story, last February I went through a week-long phase where it took me over two hours to write my emails each morning.
That’s no bullshit.
My morning would basically go like this…
1. Sit down at my laptop and write for 20-30 minutes
2. Halfway through I’d realize I didn’t like what I was writing so, I’d try and edit it to make it better
3. After a bunch of editing, I’d realize there was no “saving” this email. So I’d just scrap it.
4. Next I’d go for a walk or hop in the shower to try and clear my mind

6. Eventually I finished the email. Usually about two hours after I started it.
That was my process nearly every morning.

And it was a realization that saved me a ton of time, and made my writing a lot easier.

I kept trying to come up with “new” angles.

That made it damn near impossible to write.
Cause coming up with an original idea everyday is not easy (even for me).

I stopped trying to be “Mr. Creative”.
