When I can’t think of anything to write about, I just write about random stuff that’s on my mind.
Today is one of those days.
So here’s what’s on my mind…
– I haven’t given ya an update on George in a while, but he’s still kickin’. His issues with his spine/hips have gotten worse in the last 5-6 months.
The vet says he has a neurodegenerative disease, and not much can be done besides surgery.
At this point, he’s 10 years old (which is really old for a Great Dane), so I’m not going to put him through surgery.
He’s still chipper, and we’re going to the park twice a day.
It’s hard to watch him try to play with o ther dogs cause he still thinks he can hang and wrestle with them, but his body just kind of gives out after a few minutes.
I know I’m not gonna be able to keep him around a whole lot longer, so just trying to enjoy all the time we’re spending together these days.
Here’s pic of him chilling at the park yesterday (looking suspicious)…
– About 3 weeks ago, my buddy Tanner and I drove to Dallas and went to the Mavs vs Pelicans game (this was about a week before the NBA canceled their season).
After the game, I got a pic with Doris Burke, who is one of the announcers.
If you don’t follow the NBA, she’s basically like the queen of the NBA.
Everyone loves her.
So I got a quick picture with her…
Reason I’m telling you this is because I damn near had a heart attack yesterday when I saw the picture below pop up on Instagram…
“Holy shit” I thought.
I was just posing for a picture with this woman a few weeks ago.
And now she has coronavirus.
I’m one of the immunocompromised people who’s high risk, so this is even more troubling.
After doing a little research, I discovered that she started having symptoms on March 11th.
And now she’s back to feeling 100%.
So based on the dates, I don’t think she had it yet when I got a pic with her.
So I’m prolly in the clear.
However that post scared the crap out of me.
– Last thing for today… I sent out an email a few weeks ago looking for businesses for me to buy into and be a partner on.
If you sent me an email on that, I’m still going through them (there were a lot of emails).
I’ll be doing my due-dilligence on all the companies I’m considering, so if you’re expecting me to make a decision within a week or two, that’s not going to happen.
I’m looking for a long-term partnership.
So it needs to be the right fit for me (and you).

That’s all I got for ya this morning.
Austin is getting crushed by rain as I write this, so looks like it will be a lazy Saturday over here.
Hope you have one as well…
Enjoy your day.
