I’m convinced that having an email list is the ultimate “lifestyle business”.
Why?
Cause everyone I know that has a list…
Lives a pretty fun life.
For example…
Right now my buddy Mike Geary is on a heli-skiing trip with a group of friends in British Columbia.
Which is like the ultimate thrill for a skiier…
Cause you get dropped off at the top of a mountain (by a helicopter)…
And you get to ski pristine, untouched powder with no one else around.
There’s no one getting in your way…
No long lift lines to wait in.
It’s simply you and your friends…
And five feet of fresh powder…
Talk about a dream day…
But Mike has setup his life in way that his email list allows him to do that.
I’ll give ya another example…
My buddy Joe Ducard has a tiny little list in the men’s dating niche (it’s just 437 people)…
Yet, he still lives a life that most people would kill for.
In fact, he just spent three weeks in Florida riding his motorcycle everywhere from Miami to the Florida Keys.
This is what Joe lives for…
And simply riding down the highway with the sun on his back…
That’s a perfect day for him.
And he’s able to do that…
Cause his email list gives him all the free time in the world.
I’ll give ya another example from my own life…
I usually work 2-3 hours on most days…
And then I use my free time to…
Hit the gym…
Volunteer at the Austin Animal Center…
Play pickleball…
Or take a dip at Barton Springs.
For me, that’s a good life.
And a life that I truly look forward to each morning.
And again…
I’m able to do all this because of my email list.
I’ve had businesses in the past where all I did was work all day.
I was basically glued to the computer.
And I had no life outside of work.
Well guess what?
That ain’t fun.
And I don’t want that kind of life anymore.
That’s why I’m all about email these days.
Cause email is scalable.
With an email list you can write one email…
And that email can turn into $347…
Or $1236…
Or even $6489 (my best email ever)…
Once you have your email list working for you…
You’ll have a lot more free time to do whatever you want.
That’s the power of having a list.
