My biggest regret…

Last night while I was doing an interview for Brian Kurtz’s new Titans Xcelerator group, I gave out some advice that I wish someone would have told me 12 years ago.

My advice?

Get a mentor.

And here’s why I say that…

I spent the first few years of my internet marketing career fumbling around trying everything under the sun.

I tried SEO…

I did affiliate marketing…

I played with PPC ads (back when it was the wild west on Google).

I created 30+ blogs…

I tried damn near everything you could think of.

But I was just shooting in the dark.

Cause I had no clue what I was doing.

And I was too damn stubborn to actually pay for a coach, or a mentor.

I thought I could figure it all out on my own.

And I did eventually.

But it came at a BIG expense.

Cause it took me a good 3-4 years to finally get it.

And that’s when I had my first 6-figure year.

That’s 3-4 years that I could have been making a lot more money if I knew what I was doing.

So if I would have invested in a good coach…

Or found a good mentor…

The ROI on that would have been huge.

I’ve seen this first hand in our Copy Accelerator group over the last year.

Guys like Mattia Paganelli and his partner Alessandro Gandini went from having one fitness offer to now having 3-4 offers that are all working on cold traffic.

As a result both of their incomes have skyrocketed.

Same thing with copywriters like Scott Mills, Sam Robson and Randall Pruitt.

All 3 are freelance copywriters…

And after joining Copy Accelerator, they’re now making 2-3x what they used to make (Randall even had his first $50k month recently).

But here’s the thing…

This isn’t an anomaly.

When you have a good mentor, this is what happens.

Cause you have someone who’s already been where you are…

And they’ve already made all the mistakes.

So they can simply tell you what to do…

And what not to do.

Which means you start making more money a lot quicker than you would on your own.

Point being…

Not getting a coach or a mentor sooner is probably my biggest regret.

Cause it would have saved me a lot of wasted time…

And the ROI would have been enormous.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but a good coach is NOT an expense.

It’s an asset.

It helps you make more money.

Anyways…

I wish I would have done it sooner.

I suggest you don’t make the same mistake that I did.
