A reader asks what my secret is for running high 5-figure promos with a relatively small list…
You’re right, I have had some big promos this year…
My “13 email hooks” promo in June did $54,500…
My list building promo back in January did $89,790…
And my promo of Stefan Georgi’s AI copy bundle in July made me $91,564 after all the payments came in…
So despite only having 12k people on my list…
I’ve had some big winners with a list that’s not massive.
However…
I’d be willing to bet that most people probably think that success is all due to the emails I write.
But here’s the thing…
The emails ARE important…
But they’re just one part of the formula.
If you want to consistently have 5-figure promos…
And bring in as much as $9 per email subscriber on a promo (like many of mine have)…
Then you need to nail all three parts of what I call the “email promo tripod”.
And that involves having…
1. A “sweetspot offer” that appeals to the 5% of your list that regularly buys
2. An offer that maximizes the EPS (earnings per subscriber)
3. Emotionally driven emails packed into a 7-day time frame that tap into the deepest desires and frustrations of your list
That’s the tripod in it’s essence…
And it’s a formula that’s allowed me to consistently pull in between $20,000 and $90,000 on most of my email promos.
It works when I promote my own offers…
It works when promoting affiliate offers…
And I’ve even used the same formula to run hugely successful promos in other niches like health, personal development, investing, dating, survival, coaching and more…
So any way you look at it, it works…
And I think it will work for you as well.
