Yesterday I spent the day in Orlando at a private copywriting gathering that Todd Brown put together…

In attendance were some of the best copywriters in the world…

I listened to Dan Ferrari talk about inward vs outward big ideas…

I heard Tony Flores breakdown his process for developing unique mechanisms…

I took notes while Donnie French talked about his education-style ads that are crushing…

I listened to Jon Benson talk about his formula for coming up with catchy names for offers…

I heard Perry Marshall breakdown some of his best price tests and how they affected customer value on the backend…

Over the course of the day, I took pages and pages of notes…

I learned a bunch of new copy strategies…

Made some new friends…

And I even had some of my copy beliefs challenged…

So overall it was an awesome day.

And there’s one thing I want you to take away from my experience.

And that’s this…

No matter what level you get to, you always want to be open to learning.

I’ve been selling things online since 2004…

In that time I’ve built four multi-million dollar businesses…

I’ve written some massive offers…

So I know a thing or two about selling stuff.

And honestly, it’d be very easy for me to rest on my laurels and to act like I know everything.

But here’s the thing…

If you want to be at the top…

You have to always be open to learning.

You can’t think you “know it all”.

Or that you have nothing to learn from others.

You have to be open to learning.

That’s what the best marketers do…

They are “forever students”.

So my advice?

Be a “forever student”.

Always be open to learning…

And never let yourself think you “know it all”.

If you do that, I promise you’ll reap the rewards.
