Yesterday I shared a lesson I learned from my recent $29k launch with you.
And that lesson was…
You want to make sure your offer is a direct match for the red-hot center of your list.
So for me, 60% of my list is copywriters…
And the recent offer I promoted (The 1-Day Cash Machine) wasn’t super appealing to the copywriters on my list.
So sales were lower than usual…
However…
There is a way to fix this.
And knowing what I know now, I could have easily done 2x the amount of revenue on this offer.
How?
By simply raising the price.
Here’s the deal…
There’s nothing wrong with creating an offer that only appeals to a small segment of your list.
I’ve done it with small events…
And certain niche courses…
It works.
The key to making an offer work that only appeals to a small segment of your list is that you simply have to charge more for it.
For example…
With my 1-Day Cash Machine, since this was really about monetizing an email list (which is a specialized offer) it should have been a higher priced course.
So I should have charged $1000 or so.
And I could have added some extra coaching in to make it more valuable.
Had I done that, I’m betting I would have made 50-70 sales of the course (instead of 157).
And I would have made around $60k in revenue instead of the $29k I made.
So the lesson here is simple…
Whenever you’re selling a specialized product that will only appeal to a small segment of your list…
You should sell it at a higher price point so that it’s worth it for you.
That’s not rocket science by any means…
But it’s a lesson I forgot…
So this was a good reminder of that.
Hope this was helpful for ya.
Enjoy your Thursday,
– Justin
