Most copywriters simply make claims in their leads.
So they talk about all the benefits.
And what this product is gonna do for you.
Which is fine.
But it HAS to be backed up with proof & credibility.
Cause claims without proof and credibility just make the reader skeptical.
So they think you’re lying.
Which is why Stefan really hammers home the proof in his leads.
For example…
Let’s look at this lead he wrote for Jeremy Hunsicker for his anti-aging offer.
As you can see this lead is loaded with proof and credibility.
– Spanish Scientists uncover the hidden “death clock”
– it’s confirmed by the first ever human trial
– scientists discover how to reverse aging by 8.5 years (and up to 27 years in some cases)
– the lead scientist studied under 2 Nobel Prize winners
– it used to only be available to Hollywood celebrites and mega-rich businessman
– Some of these wealthy people paid over a million dollars to access it
In basically half a page of copy, Stefan is hitting you with 6 different forms of proof & credibility.
That is powerful.
And it makes the claims more believable.
If he had only made the claims…
And not had the proof & credibility to back it up…
This lead would not work.
Because the reader would be TOO skeptical.
That’s the power of proof & credibility.
And it’s something that Stefan is really good at.
He even has a full module on how to write killer leads like this (for any niche) in his RMBC course.
I can tell you from my experience, nothing will boost the conversion on a sales letter (or VSL) faster than a good lead.
I’ve seen mediocre offers go from 20 sales a day to 1500+ per day simply from getting the lead right.
And I’ve even been paid as a freelancer as much as $47,000 simply for writing a new lead that beat my client’s control.
That’s how powerful having the right lead is.
And like I said, Stefan is the best I’ve seen at it.
