This is a pic of me and my very first copy mentee (Tanner) hanging out in Vegas yesterday…
Yesterday was the first day of March Madness (a big college basketball tournament) so Tanner and I decided to post-up at the Circa sportsbook like a couple of degenerates and bet on the games all day.
We sat there watching game after game on the massive, 225 foot TV.
Which was a blast…
The place was packed…with thousands of people watching who all had money on the games.
So whenever someone hit a big shot, it would feel like an erruption.
There’d be guys going nuts cause their team was winning…
While others would be relentlessly booing and screaming at the TV…
It was wild…
And I loved every minute of it.
Funny thing is, going to Vegas for March Madness has been a “bucket list” item for me for the last ten years.
But I never got around to doing it.
Why?
Cause work always got in the way.
Usually I was in the middle of a big copy project…
Or I had to prepare for an event like the last few years…
So I felt like I couldn’t take the time off.
I had to keep working.
And thus, I never made the trip to Vegas for March Madness.
But now that I’ve scaled everything back in my business…
I sold my coaching program last year…
I stopped creating social media content…
And I’ve made my sole focus my email list.
Now, I have more time to do the things I always wanted to do.
I’m not constantly chained to my desk…
And I can take a few days off without my business falling apart.
Which brings me to the reason I’m writing you this email…
