Quick question for you, I currently work a retail job, and I want to get into copywriting. If you were starting over in my shoes, what’s the path you would take to get to 6-figures a year as fast as possible?

And it’s a question I love talking about…

Out of the hundreds of copywriters I’ve personally worked with, the ones who got to 6-figures the quickest all did very similar things…

If you want to get to 6-figures as fast as possible, you should focus on email copy.
Cause once you’re decent at writing emails…
You can charge $150 or so for an email.
And at that rate if you’re writing 30 emails a month, you’ll be making $4500 a month.
So all you need are two clients, and you’ll be making 6-figures a year.
That’s the entire plan.
It’s pretty simple.
I’ll also add that if you learn how to write personality-driven emails you’ll have an even better chance of landing clients.
Why?
Cause most copywriters don’t know how to write ’em.
They only know how to write short, click-driver style emails…
But if you’re writing for a coach…
Or an expert…
Or a Youtuber…
They’re going to want emails that aren’t super “salesy” and that sound like them.
And personality-driven emails do exactly that.
So if you know how to write ’em, you’ll set yourself apart from the other copywriters clamoring for that job.
