Most people think the secret to making a lot of money with email is killer copy.
But in my experience that’s simply not true…
Copy definitely matters…
And good copy will always do better than bad copy.
But here’s the thing…
The thing that matters even more than the copy is how “SEXY” the offer is that you’re pitching.
I’ll give you an example…
Let’s say I’m selling a course in the men’s dating niche…
So my list is a bunch of dudes who want to meet more women, go on dates, get laid etc…
So I create an offer around that…
And in my pitch, I tell them I’m gonna show them how to meet beautiful women at bars. And in order to do that they’ll need to go out 3x a week, and approach 15 women a night. I’m not gonna tell them what to say to the women, but I’m just gonna tell them to start conversations and to see where it goes.
How appealing do you think that offer is?
Not very appealing.
Cause the guy knows it’s gonna be uncomfortable.
He’s not gonna know what to say…
And there’s a good chance that the girls he approaches will be making fun of him…
So as much as he wants to meet some cute girls…
This solution to his problem is not very appealing.
Now on the otherhand…
What if instead of telling him to go out and get rejected all night…
What if we switched gears and made a “SEXY” offer to him.
And in this sexy offer we tell him…

Obviously the second one.
Cause it REMOVES everything he’s dreading…
And he’s still getting the result he wants (which is talking to girls)…
So as you can see…
Having a sexy offer is really the most important part of making money from an email list.
It’s not the copy…
Or the subject line…
Those are obviously both important.
But how sexy (or how appealing) your offer is, is really what drives the sales.
