For me, the best way to learn something is to watch someone else doing the thing I want to learn.
For example…
When I got into strength training, reading a bunch of books didn’t help me nearly as much as going to the gym with my buddy Andrew (who was strong as an ox) and watching how he deadlifted, squatted and how he generally approached his workouts…
Same thing was true when I was learning copywriting. Everything I read in copywriting books was helpful, but the copy tactics really sunk in when my mentor David Deutsch would write headlines and ads live on a call with me. That’s when everything “clicked”, and I finally got it.
So I’m a big fan of watching someone else do the thing I want to learn.
